This is seriously the best caramel sauce you'll ever put in your mouth. It starts with homemade caramel candy and with the addition of a little heavy cream, voila! This is worth keeping homemade caramel on hand at all times.
8 ounces Caramel Candy
1/4 cup heavy cream
Combine in either a small sauce pan or a large measuring cup. Heat on low heat on the stove, stirring constantly, or heat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each cooking period, until the caramel and cream are completely combined and smooth.
Will keep in the refrigerator for up to one month.
